Formosa Plastics Corporation was established
in 1954. Its main businesses include plastic raw
materials, plastic processing, precision chemicals, fiber products,
etc. It is the largest petrochemical group in Taiwan and the largest
PVC manufacturer in Asia. In addition to Taiwan, the company also
has factories in the United States and mainland China.
Carbon fiber products are fiber products. The original raw yarn is
successfully developed by our company. It is one of the few production
lines in the world. It is used in transportation, aerospace, hydrogen
energy, sports and leisure, bicycles and other fields, and has made
great contributions to the development of high-tech industries.
Under Formosa Plastics Corporation's recent diversification
development strategy, it has expanded into electronics, energy,

1. Three types of Chopped fiber, CS-2516 (standard modulus), CS2816
(Intermediate Modulus), and CS-2816H (High temperature used), have
Flake-shaped made of TAIRYFIL PAN-based carbon fibers. They have
been produced commercially and widely applied to various composite
applications.
2. CS-2516 exhibits good compatibility with thermoplastics resin such as PA,
PC, PPO, PPS etc..
3. CS-2816 show high modulus performance and is compatible to PA, PC,
PPO, PPS etc..
4. CS-2816H exhibits good thermal resistance and is compatible PEEK, PEI,
PI, PSU etc..
5. Recommend processes: Compounding, Injection molding and Bulk molding
compound (BMC). |
